Graphic Designer

**Job Purpose:**

Reporting to the Consultant and Business Team, the post holder is responsible for delivering a wide spectrum of marketing and design projects. From website updates, sales and marketing collateral for social media and print, to PowerPoint presentations, tenders, technical sheets, and graphics for exhibitions, the ideal candidate should have a wide breadth of design and marketing skills. Highly organized and responsive to tight deadlines, you will be able to work at times under pressure to provide design and artwork support both independently and following direction.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Creating design work to demanding deadlines
  • Overseeing the Marketing and Design collateral shared library and maintaining a clear and accessible filing system and archive for the organization’s use.
  • Project ownership – reporting to and liaising with the Global Marketing and Design Manager and the teams in the production of specsheets, user guides, tenders, emailers, and presentations which strengthen the brand and are current in their messaging.
  • Updating the website and uploading social media posts when needed.
  • Liaising with members of the team to discuss workflow and requirements
  • Proactive in keeping an up-to-date overview of the team’s marketing workflow using Smartsheet.
  • Help to quickly resolve any issues related to work produced and support other members of the team with problem-solving when the need arises.
  • Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements, and brand values.
  • Attend regular Teams meetings to discuss the workload and when needed, in person at the office.

Requirements

**Person Specification:**

**Part One - Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience:**

  • Industry experience over an extended period of time
  • Industry-relevant qualifications (i.e., HND/BA, Graphic Design)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft programs
  • Understanding of social media platforms as a marketing tool
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about design and marketing
  • Proactive with a willing to work attitude
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends
  • Creative flair and a good eye for detail
  • Confident in presenting work to the wider team
  • Strong portfolio of high-quality projects demonstrating experience with a range of projects
  • Experience working in both print and digital formats
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
