As a Senior Product Designer at Honeyfund, you will be designing amazing new experiences for millions of Honeyfund users. You will work directly with the product team from discovery and ideation through delivery, with a commitment to continuous improvement through gathered feedback and iteration.

You’ll be a great fit if you have deep design expertise and a passion for designing delightful experiences, empathy for end users, and the ability to manage multiple projects in different phases. You are highly organized, a great communicator, and take full ownership of your work. We are looking for someone who will enjoys delivering on great ideas and improving ease for customers.

You’re a self-starter, a problem-solver, detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, customer support and other teams to bring great ideas and awesome new user experiences to life. Working all towards our mission, to make the honeymoon happen for all couples.

You’re available to work during our core hours of 11am-5pm ET.

Job responsibilities include...

• Lead design projects independently
• Collaborate with the product team to identify user problems and opportunities, and devise elegant design solutions
• Create design concepts that align with brand standards and product strategy
• Develop comprehensive design systems, including layouts, typography, color schemes, and visual hierarchy
• Produce user flows, user journeys, high-fidelity prototypes and detailed specifications for development teams
• Incorporate user feedback, technical considerations and business requirements into ongoing product design
• Participate in user research to validate designs and understand user behavior
• Ensure product design consistency and coherence across Honeyfund’s product experiences
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in product design

Why we’ll love you...

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5-8 years experience in a consumer-facing product design role, including 2-3 years designing for mobile.
• Portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, an eye for detail and craftsmanship when it comes to UI, and a passion for user advocacy and delight.
• A proven track record of tackling complex projects, leading initiatives, and delivering successful outcomes for ecommerce and/or marketplace products.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• A proven track record of developing, working within and contributing to a design system and component library.
• Ability to work independently to explore concepts from beginning to end, yet also crave healthy feedback on your ideas and can iterate on designs efficiently and intelligently.
• Organized and deadline driven -- you are a champion of good process.
• Experience with user research and usability testing, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.

Skills we’d love you to have...

• Optimal candidates will have front-end development experience.
• Experience with development handoff tools such as Zeplin.
• Experience with designing ML and/or AI-powered features such as chatbots, recommendation engines.
• Highly motivated to continue learning about AI and design for new and complex technology including AI and its impact on various user experiences.
• Passionate and curious about how design can be leveraged to improve users’ ability to plan and fund their dream honeymoon.

Compensation:

$140,000-$175,000 DOE
