IKEA

Interior Design Manager

Job description

WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU
You have a passion for interior design and life at home with the expertise for creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and promote wellbeing. If you want to design home furnishing solutions and collaborate with a team of creatives, then we might be a great fit for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an Interior Design Manager, you will:

Lead, inspire, and challenge the Interior Design team to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in product range presentation and home furnishing solutions through home furnishing knowledge in all channels.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, both within and outside of commercial sales, ensuring integration, shared goals, and maximum impact.

Contribute to creating additional market-specific content across channels (e.g., IKEA.com, social media posts, promotion content, etc.), based on briefs from Communications or Marketing and Commercial Sales Calendar related Activities and Events.

Responsible for tailoring and completing inspiring, relevant, affordable, and sustainable interior design solutions through guidelines and leading development projects together with stores for non-standard components to drive demand for IKEA products.

Support the development of the country business plan, contribute to executing the department action plans, and ensure layout and product range presentation efforts drive IKEA's business growth.

Develop shop design solutions for market-specific needs and opportunities in line with local commercial priorities and common guidelines.

Continuously measure the performance of product presentation and contribute to the functional review to identify improvement areas.

TOGETHER AS A TEAM
Where others see home furnishing products, we see smart solutions to create a better everyday life. With a great deal of passion, imagination and brainstorming we turn colours, textiles and furniture into inspiring environments that excite, engage and convince IKEA visitors that they can do it too!
