About the role: Product Designer

We need a hands-on Product Designer who loves to create more than just look good. You're the kind who builds websites and digital products from scratch, making sure everything not only looks great but works perfectly too. If you're about turning big ideas into real things people use and love, let's make something special together.

Key responsibilities

• Product design: Lead the design process from concept to completion. Translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Sketch, ensuring a user-centered design approach.
• UX optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of our site. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to make informed design decisions.
• Collaboration and communication: Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to define design requirements, advocate for the user experience, and ensure design consistency across all projects.
• Design system management: Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency in components and usability standards across all products.
• Prototyping: Create high-fidelity prototypes for the purpose of user testing and stakeholder review. Use insights from testing to guide design improvements and iterations.
• Accessibility and compliance: Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and comply with web design best practices. Advocate for inclusive design principles.
• Product analytics: track and analyze website performance and conversion rates. Use data to inform design decisions and prioritize improvements.
• Project management: Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet deadlines and requirements. Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders effectively.

Hard skills

• Proficiency with Sketch for UI/UX design
• Frontend development experience is a strong plus
• Ability to develop and manage design systems, ensuring consistency in UI components and patterns across products.
• Deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
• Outstanding writing skills and the ability to tell compelling stories.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in either French, Portuguese, or Spanish.
