UI/UX Product Designer

Sched is a vibrant and expanding organization seeking an innovative UI/UX Designer to play a crucial role in our continued success. This pivotal position requires a proactive approach, combining your profound understanding of UI/UX principles, product management, and effective communication to guide projects from inception to launch. You will work cross-functionally, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and ensure that our products align seamlessly with the dynamic needs of existing and prospective customers within our target markets.

What You’ll Do

Your role is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with internal departments to interpret, assess, and prioritize the evolving needs of current and future customers and the events industry as a whole. Translate insights into high-quality visuals and features that captivate, engage, and inspire.
  • Create comprehensive UI mockups, prototypes, and wireframes that vividly communicate design concepts and user journeys.
  • Champion the development of new projects, collaborate closely with diverse internal teams to ideate, strategize, and execute initiatives that enhance user interface (UI) and user experience (UX).
  • Facilitate projects from initiation through development and successful launch, maintaining transparent and impactful communication with staff, stakeholders, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct product testing for newly developed projects, guaranteeing that the final product aligns flawlessly with design intent and user expectations.
  • Conduct user-centered research and comprehensive studies to validate and inform design decisions, soliciting input from internal and external product forum participants.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years combined of experience in UI/UX design and product management, backed by a demonstrated ability to define product requirements within user stories, bugs, and enhancements, supported by requirement criteria, design, and mockups.
  • Excellent proficiency in developing UI mockups, prototypes, and wireframes using industry-standard design tools.
  • Proficiency in Figma Design and Prototypes.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling the translation of user feedback and research findings into design choices.
  • Strong collaboration skills with both engineering and marketing teams, leading to successful software application development from conception to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and adaptable, with a successful history of excelling in remote work environments.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, enabling the effective management of multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Rapid learner who remains current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Solid understanding of SaaS products, HTML/CSS, Front-End highly preferred.
