‍ Senior UX/UI Designer Location: Hammersmith, London Flexible working: 1-2 days per week in the office Scout is proud to be partnered and embedded within Otto Car , to help support their growing UK Product and Engineering Teams. We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer that shares our passion for sustainable and safe mobility. You will be leading the design concept creation and delivery for autonomous fleet management applications, leveraging the latest AI technology, working to bring better mobility, safer and cleaner streets to our cities. You'll be a great fit, if you: Are passionate about sustainable mobility Are motivated to improve road safety, specifically by improving driver standards Aren’t afraid to share your opinion Like to figure out how to fix it, instead of who to blame Are down to earth, enjoy being part of something bigger Care about the environment Devote yourself to what you love, and never want to stop Your responsibilities: Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and fully designed prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces Facilitate our product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for our digital products Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs Translate your designs so they are easily understood by the engineering team Collaborate with the wider Otto Car team and stakeholders to determine how your product designs impact the wider business Experience required: Expertise in and extensive experience using Figma is required Experience designing complex digital solutions with an emphasis on how users need to interact with them in the physical world Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet drivers and passenger needs and our vision Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a good understanding of mobile-first and responsive design A solid grasp of user-centred design (UCD), user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesising abstract ideas into concrete design implications Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design, combining the physical user experience/ service design to the digital product Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation A strong portfolio that demonstrates a high bar for aesthetics and visual design, tangible impact to user experience, and connection of your efforts towards user and business outcomes Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus We are a small but passionate team delivering something completely revolutionary.
