The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior 3D Retail Designer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing innovative retail concepts, creating realistic and impactful visualisations that not only showcase design aesthetics but also consider practical aspects of materials and production. You are equally confident in developing ideas and creative concepts as you are in 3D. We are looking for a creative designer, not just a visualiser, so we are keen to meet people who come with blue sky ideas as well as technical skills. Your responsibilities will extend beyond design and visualisation to include a deep understanding of materials, production processes, and their implications on the final retail environment. Your insights will be crucial in ensuring that the designs can be feasibly and effectively implemented. Your Responsibilities Sit as a core part of the creative team working across a variety of our retail clients. Take a leading role on projects, communicating clearly with the internal team throughout. Comfortable developing relationships with clients and presenting your work with passion and belief. Communicate ideas through mood imagery and description, honing creative concepts and inspiring others. Build out concepts into 3D designs and visuals, using sketchup and Vray. Work closely with production and technical to make sure we are in line with timelines and budgets & your incredible vision is honoured through to implementation. Develop inspiring creative presentations and pitches and sell these into clients. About you You will have 7+ years experience working in an agency or in-house. Proficient in SketchUp and V-Ray essential Understanding of the retail landscape to the highest level Experience taking projects from start to finish, from initial concept right through to final design Energetic and collaborative, we are big fans of teamwork. You will have a high cultural radar with a finger on the pulse across all areas of art, design, music and culture You will have a desire to drive innovation within the business, creating beautiful & impactful work that strives to make a difference (environmentally and socially) A commercial understanding, with the skills to generate design concepts for brands that reinforce brand messages & sell specific products Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite You will have worked across complex and varied projects internationally Strong organisational and communication skills Experience pulling together creative presentations – pitch experience would be ideal You will be motivated to always push creative ideas as far as possible However you will also be pragmatic, realistic and diligent never to over promise or under deliver managing client expectations brilliantly while looking for alternative solutions You will have a solid understanding of build and production and the technical aspects of the design process You will be calm and organised with meticulous attention to detail Experience in managing junior creatives and freelancers in the team
