RS&H

Senior Graphic Designer

Job description

The Opportunity

RS&H seeks a senior graphic designer to join our team in Jacksonville, Tampa, or Denver. Working in a hybrid environment (office & remotely), each day will differ slightly from the last. You’ll collaborate with team members to conceptualize, create, and produce highly creative, multi-channel campaigns that advance RS&H’s brand and support business objectives.

Projects you will work on range from large-scale multimedia campaigns to more production-oriented graphics such as presentations and data report-outs. A big part of your role is knowing RS&H’s brand essence inside and out to help evolve and expand our visual brand identity. This involves understanding project outcomes and working collaboratively with your marketing and communications teammates to identify creative solutions to achieve them.

Requirements

Here’s what you need to be successful:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field and at least 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in art directing, designing, and producing creative campaigns. We will also accept 15 years of progressive experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Past agency experience isn’t necessary but preferred.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates a mastery of graphic design and creative campaigns, including social media, data visualization/infographics, and brand identity.
  • You’re excited about design and know the ins and outs of design layout, typography, illustration, and animation. You have expertise in multimedia design, including video editing, and can translate designs across different media types to ensure cohesive, consistent campaigns.
  • You like working with people. Working on a highly collaborative team, you seek to understand project goals and outcomes and actively contribute to brainstorming sessions. You use this information to develop and present design concepts and then use the input to execute the final design deliverables by the deadline. You proactively communicate with team members throughout a project to ensure alignment with the team and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • You turn ideas into reality. You have experience developing and advancing brand identities with a strong understanding of how message and tone are communicated through design. You can effectively communicate concepts and mentor other designers and team members in brand elements.
  • You are very comfortable with the latest creative and office software programs, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe Express), Canva, and Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • You stay current with and actively explore new design trends and technology, including the expanding use of artificial intelligence.
  • You are proactive and deadline-orientated. You have excellent organizational skills and can effectively manage assignments, ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met. You can anticipate the needs of a project, independently solve problems, and make decisions.

If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.
