We are working with and have partnered with several of the largest home care agencies in North America to focus on building performance-based pay and incentives specific to home care needs. Role Summary


As a Senior Product Designer at Caribou, you will lead the end-to-end design process from concept to execution. You will play a key role in connecting with end users directly conducting user research and translating requirements into practical product features for our agencies and caregivers. While this role is full-time, we are open to those who prefer contract however we prefer minimum 20 hours a week.


What you will be doing:


  • Lead the end-to-end design process for our digital products, including conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces
  • Seek to understand challenges our caregivers, coordinators and agencies encounter through user interviews
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices throughout Caribou
  • Test various reward structures and presentation to caregivers to increase engagement
  • Build and share processes, guidelines, best practices and standards to improve and expand our product design strategy, design system and collaboration with engineering


About you:


  • 4+ years of experience as a product designer preferably with a mix of experience building B2B SaaS and B2C applications
  • Proficiency in Figma is important
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback to inform design decisions
  • Have a good understanding of how to balance speed of output and perfectionism
  • Have an MVP mindset, keeping the end vision in mind while taking multiple small steps and validating as we go
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A passion for solving for end user engagement in today's world where many apps compete for attention
  • Strong desire to push the boundaries of design innovation

Good to know:


  • We work remotely however we travel a few times a year for team events/meetings
  • Most of our team is located in the GTA, therefore we typically work Eastern Time
