Job description

Note: This role will start out as part-time (20 hours) but has a good chance to move into full-time (40 hours) within a few months!


Come join our amazing marketing agency client as rockstar Graphic Designer! You'll be working with telecom clients so any experience in this industry would help you rise to the top of the list!

Responsibilities:

  • You'll be working on Design/Studio work – collecting and posting files to vendor sites, edits, taking a concept developed by someone else and executing it within brand guidielines.
  • Willing to learn, listen and lead when necessary
  • Learn from others about the client, the challenge, the opportunity and the avenues to address
  • Listen to what the strategy is, what has been effective / well received in the past and what hasn’t and client and internal team feedback
  • Lead others through an idea/thought process and be able to explain their thinking (no creative for creative’s sake)
  • Able to take constructive feedback and execute without attitude


Experience and skill sets:

  • 1-3 years (more junior than senior)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (proficient in .ai, .psd, .indd, .pdf – animation coding skills for email, html5 and video a plus)
  • Microsoft Office (PPT a plus)
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Professional design experience a plus (portfolio should reflect work that has been in market)
  • Works well with copywriters, coders and account teams
  • Impressive, well rounded design portfolio to include examples of: Direct mail, Email (desktop and responsive design), Display advertising, Social ad posts, Webpages / landing pages, Print advertising
  • Telecom experience a plus (internet, cloud-based solutions, VoIP, etc.)
  • Diversity in approach to design – chameleon-like in their style (about to adapt to, and adopt styles, from brand guidelines)
  • Icon development a plus
  • Photo research experience required (preferably GettyImages)
  • Video storyboarding a plus
  • Digital illustration a plus


Personality characteristics

  • Resourceful – can work with little direction – can find ways to get information and / or lean into the brand guidelines
  • Resilient – a lot of ups and downs, quick turns and at times, little feedback to go on – can’t get discouraged easily
  • Hungry – has something to prove but doesn’t have an attitude when trying to prove it
  • Willing to do anything – nothing is above or below them when it comes to getting a deliverable out on time and on strategy


The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $40.00 to $50.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
