Role Description

We’re looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join our smart, savvy, female led company as a member of our enthusiastic, creative, and driven team. You will be the creative assistant who develops and then creates graphics and content across different social media and digital platforms.

This is a remote, freelance position.

Time Commitment: Up to 35 hours a week.

Requirements

• 3-4 years social media/digital creative experience
• MUST be a strong, self-starter adept at independent problem-solving
• MUST have a can-do and positive attitude
• Experience using social media creatively
• The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends in design for FB/IG/Twitter/LinkedIn/Pinterest, etc.
• Experience using Canva
• Some understanding of production and performance driven creative
• Detail oriented + have a strong ability to prioritize work and resources
• Have excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Strong desire to deliver the best results possible for clients
• Proactive problem solver
• Adaptive and able to remain calm under pressure
• Experience working with presentation software such as Google Slides, Keynote and PowerPoint
• Photography/Videography experience
• Video editing
  
  

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Project manage all owned creative deliverables and be sure that you meet all deadlines
• Manage quick turnaround times & robust volume of content via efficient processes
• Actively contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, excellence and accountability
  
  

Creative Execution

• Develop and create work of the highest caliber to achieve Client objectives
• Design per creative briefs
• Assist current art directors with graphic design for social media posts
• Contribute to concepting/brainstorms for your clients that capitalize on social media platform updates and pop culture trends
• Develop original concepts designed to meet clients’ strategic objectives & brand standards
• Stay up-to-date on existing social channels and digital marketing to discover and pitch opportunities for new content concepts for existing clients
• Be responsible for all phases of creative work from concept through production
• Understand performance driven creative

COMPENSATION:

The hourly rate for this role is $25- $35 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
