ERM is seeking a highly talented and detail-oriented
Graphic Designer to join the team in any of our
Canadian office locations. In this client-facing role, you will work under the art direction of the Principal Design Consultant and Project Managers, to provide support on client engagements from creative concepts through design execution of a wide array of design materials. Responsibilities
- Provide graphic design support on client communications, including reports, figures, infographics, identity systems, stakeholder engagement materials, proposals, and presentations.
- Consult with client teams and directly with clients on creative, engaging ways to leverage communications in the digital space.
- Research and report on design trends to the design team and ERM’s greater Visual Communication Design technical community.
Requirements
Minimum Background & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communications (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing print, interactive, and branding work
- Extreme attention to detail and proven commitment to quality control
- Superior understanding of typography and page layout
- Proficient in the Windows Environment, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), and Microsoft Office (Specifically PowerPoint)
Additional Skills & Experience
- Consulting industry experience providing services to large corporate clients
- Ability to stay on the cutting edge of design trends, and new ways of implementing design through adaptive and creative means
- Bonus: 3D Rendering (Blender), Illustration Tallent, Photo/image retouching capabilities, or knowledge of Web Development (CSS, HTML, other) or Video/Audio editing Software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)

- Self-motivated individual with personal initiative, a flexible attitude, and the ability tomulti-task and work with shifting deadlines
- Extremely conscientious with high attention to detail
- Highly creative, not only unconventional thinking, but knows how to push creativity within more controlled project parameters and client brand standards
- Excellent communication and language skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and assertiveness as well as the ability to manage up and communicate well
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to at-times perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
For the Graphic Designer (Mid-Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $62,083 – $67,127 CAD. An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
