Design Manager

Design Manager - High End Residential Care facility - Richmond upon Thames This Design Manager position is for a main contractor specialising in high spec residential and hotels projects and they have an immediate requirement for Design Management resource on a new project in Richmond upon Thames. As Design Manager for this company you will be experienced in tendering and running live projects on site. Being a 2-stage tender, PCSA. You will work from the office in Central London and follow the project to site and through construction. The project consists of a new build and heavy refurbishment of a high specification Care Home overlooking the River Thames. It is a very attractive project and a great opportunity to work on a logistically challenging site. For this Design Manager role you must have good all-round construction knowledge and come from a building background. A large proportion of your experience will be working on new builds and therefore, good knowledge of concrete, groundworks and brickwork. This role will not suit fitout and interior Design Managers.
