About the Role:

We're looking for an ambitious Senior Product Designer to own all things product design within our product & tech team. As an individual contributor, you'll drive the entire product design process, including user research, UX design, UI design, user testing, and product analytics. To succeed in this role, you'll need to quickly grasp complex technical challenges, iterate fast on prototypes with colleagues and users, and have the confidence to build up a design team from scratch. Ideally you're highly experienced with designing B2B SaaS applications for an international user base.

The start date is March/April 2024, work location is Berlin, base salary starts at €72K gross / annum (plus stock options).

What You Will Do:

• Work alongside our product manager and software engineers in product discovery & delivery
• Build and validate high-fidelity prototypes that can be easily implemented by engineering
• Be our design jack-of-all-trades: UX design, UI design, visual design, interaction design, etc.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research with both user interviews and user analytics
• Build clean, easy-to-use, and scalable design systems for both our B2B SaaS and marketplace app
• Establish a strong design culture and top notch design team within our company
• Support in the development of our corporate identity with regard to logo, color scheme, fonts, etc.

Job requirements

What You Need to Succeed:

• 4+ years experience and proven track record as a Product Designer at start-ups or scale-ups
• Ambition to own product design at a young software company and grow fast
• A clear, strong portfolio of product design case studies
• Super strong UX design skills and a quick grasp of complex, technical concepts
• Strong UI design and prototyping skills with Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Framer
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable, easy-to-use design systems
• You understand the basics of HTML, CSS, and front-end-development
• Full business fluency in English (verbal and written)
• A bachelor's degree in a related field

Bonus Qualifications:

• Previous experience with B2B SaaS / marketplace product design
• Webflow skills to help us improve our company and product websites
• Ability to code and develop web front-ends
