In this role you ensure that the overall project design and production process is conducted in the most efficient and technically accurate manner possible in accordance with the stipulated project budget and schedule. You are responsible that the overall Project Work Plan is kept current by all involved disciplines, trades and partners.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Coordination and interface management of the main project disciplines (Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Process Automation, Plant Design)
- Leading and coordination of internal and external design and engineering partners
- Leading design reviews (e.g. P&ID, 3D-Model)
- Support of the Project Manager within proposal and project setup (Man loader, Project Schedule, Design Change Management)
- Reporting of current and upcoming design status (i.e. schedule and design change management)
- Analysis, organization, prioritization and delegation of tasks and follow up of results regarding design and engineering issues
- Optimization of design and engineering workflows
- University degree in automation engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in project execution and design or engineering coordination in a complex industrial EPC environment
- Confident in engineering workflows and principal content (e.g. P&IDs and 3D model development, specification, system and functional description, simulation and calculation)
- Fluent communication in German and English language
- Solution oriented organization and coordination skills
- Ability and willingness to travel and stay on site for longer time periods
- Knowledge in GMP or other transparent documentation practices is preferred
