We are looking for our new Communication- and Interior Desing Manager (Comm- In Manager).

We're searching for someone who excels in the essentials of Life at home, home furnishing, salesmanship, and creativity, ensuring a seamless Omni experience filled with delightful surprises for our visitors. Naturally, this requires excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to think outside the box and find solutions creatively. Our business plan is crystal clear: Customers come first, always, and they are always right. We blend data, insights, and experience to make it all happen. Our growth plan is straightforward too: Sell more, sell smart – in turnover, volume, and quantity.

Today, Malmö is a very diverse market, with over 900,000 people living in the greater PMA from 170+ nationalities and speaking 150 languages. Affordability, diversity, and sustainability are the core values here at IKEA Malmö, in addition to this, being close to Copenhagen and other European hubs sets the stage for sustainable growth. Malmö Market is a selling sensation, boasting a current market share of 23.9%. But wait, there's more to be achieved! A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
• Leading the Communication and Interior Design team, to embrace and understand knowledge of IKEA home furnishing and people's life at home to grow& deliver to the business expectations.

• Giving clear direction and strategies for the creative direction in the IKEA store.

• Managing all the store planning process for all the store areas (commercial and non-commercial areas including the office areas).

• Using seasonality and vitality to strengthen the implementation of the commercial calendar priorities including but not exclusive to launches, collections, News and SISAN amongst others.

• Accountable for analyzing people´s life at home in the PMA, to provide the right solutions for the customers that reflects their needs, wants and dreams.

• Accountable for my function’s development, securing the functional succession plan, that secures development of team members. Provide and secure a customized training plan individually to secure the functional competence.

• Goal setting and follow up through soft and hard KPIs.

• Creating a “sense of urgency” and agile adaptation to capture arising commercial opportunities.

• Secure conceptual and commercial compliance is a part of our ways of working.

• One of the main commercial stakeholders contributing to yearly market business plan, creating the yearly action plan for the market and for the function, agreeing on the business potential and gaps, securing the right actions and necessary redesigning of the total store.

• One of the key stakeholders in the upcoming City Plan for Malmö Market.





You are a strong and experienced leader who leads through people with a gentle approach and is tough on business results and leads by example.
You are passionate about developing & inspiring your leaders & co-workers.

You have:
• 3 -5 years leadership experience on a management level in a high-volume IKEA Market
• Proven track record in commercial and conceptual excellence
• Competent in the home furnishing business and other elements in your field
• Strong people and leadership capabilities.
· Good attention to detail, persistent, structured, and accurate.
· Excellent problem-solving and conflict-management experience with strong organizational and analytical skills.
· Ability to set budgets, implement action plans and follow up goals.
· Ability to manage different performance levels and behaviors.
• Fluent in English, Swedish is preferable,
