UX/UI Designer Internship

HP is looking for a Designer, Internship position.

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer Intern to join our dynamic team in our newly opened HP La Masia Digital Design Center, located in Barcelona, Sant Cugat, surrounded by nature and conceived as a space to boost creativity, collaboration and foster activities for the design community.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced manager & design leads to assist in the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to create designs that meet user needs and business requirements.
• Design and produce visual assets for user interface components such as icons, buttons, and menus.
• Work with design tools such as Figma & Adobe Suite to create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
• Analyze user feedback to improve UX/UI designs.
• Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented according to specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  
  

What are we looking for?:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant design program or recent graduate. Academic agreement is required.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma & Adobe Suite.
• Ability to perform basic interactive and interface design research, collect data, and summarize results.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Experience with or understanding of basic design principles, theories, and concepts.
• Experience with user research methodologies is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
