Witailer, a Retex brand, is a tech-oriented startup whose mission is to help brands succeed in the complex e-marketplace and Amazon ecosystem. In Witailer's Tech team, we oversee our portfolio of digital products, mainly advanced web analytics platforms (like stat.witailer.com).

As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

  • Handle every aspect of the product design process, including interviews, UX, UI, and maintaining our design system;
  • Actively contribute to decisions about user experience and must be capable of influencing the roadmap;
  • Have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional team with engineers, tech leads, and product managers;
  • Create modern interfaces and intuitive workflows, aiming to maximize impact for Witailer and our clients;
  • We anticipate a lean approach, blending heuristics, double diamond, and hacking, adjusting these methods according to context;
  • This position requires experience (at least 3 years), strong capability in navigating ambiguity, and proactive stakeholder guidance (GSD).

Your typical week:

  • Time aligning with the team (developers and PMs);
  • A lot of hours spent on Figma and Miro;
  • Several hours listening to and observing clients;
  • Time preparing and moderating workshops;
  • Internal training and talks;
  • Time for retrospective analysis and team improvement.

Job requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Proficiency in Figma;
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design;
  • Ability to simplify complexity;
  • Clear communication skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of task ownership;
  • Excellent level of Italian and English (at least B2);
  • A portfolio to share.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in creating and managing design systems;
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React or Angular (no coding required, but it aids communication);
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes;
  • Skill in conducting interviews and analyzing data;
  • Experience in a SaaS B2B startup;
  • Analytics-related projects in your portfolio.
