Product Designer, Core Experience

Caring is seeking a Product Designer, Core Experience who will report to the Director of Product and be responsible for the core user experience of our portfolio of websites. The successful candidate will work closely with the Core Experience Senior PM and Tech Lead to drive top of funnel engagement, design for market fit and deliver an exceptional end-user experience while maintaining the Caring brand.

As the Product Designer, Core Experience at Caring, you can expect:

Essential Functions:

  • UX Research & Analysis: Conduct user experience research and analysis to drive engagement, accelerate time to value and reduce click friction.
  • Low Fidelity Mockups & High Fidelity Prototyping: As features and initiatives are processed through the product development pipeline, different levels of fidelity will be required to build buy-in, conduct research and implement designs.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with all product design teams to craft a cohesive product roadmap and strategy as well as other business department stakeholders.
  • Presentation Design: Product teams will be relying on your visual design skills to effortlessly communicate often complex and challenging information to build buy-in from stakeholders and senior leadership.


Candidate requirements:

  • 3-5 years as a product design or similar role.
  • Strong collaboration skills with developers, program management and product ICs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment etc.)


Bonus points:

  • Startup experience.
  • Bachelors in Graphic, Product, or Industrial Design.

  • Salary Band: $60,000-$90,000 (DOE)
