The Role

The Mid-Level Graphic Designer must effectively collaborate with the Design Team, assist the Studio Manger in ensuring accurate production of all outputs paying particular attention to details to ensure brand integrity and accuracy.

Responsibilities will revolve around designing, and executing creative projects across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency in brand representation, and maintaining high design standards. You'll be expected to have a solid understanding of design principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to balance creativity with practicality.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Work on design projects for the Beacon Lighting Group, ensuring that our brand positioning and style guidelines are met.
  • Create artwork for Beacon Lighting Group and action design requests from internal Departments.
  • Correctly type set materials as required using the template/s designed by the Creative Director and/or Studio Manager whilst following design guidelines for artwork.
  • Ensure projects are completed within specified deadlines.
  • Liaise with external print/production suppliers to ensure correct specifications are gained before forwarding artwork.
  • Make suggestions to improve/optimise briefs.
  • Work on concepts and ideas for new briefs.
  • Produce artwork for the following categories (but not limited to): PRINT: Catalogues, POS, Press adverts, Magazine adverts, logos, Brochures, Packaging, Stationery and Visual Merchandising material, Conference material, Annual Reports and Presentations, Trade Club material. DIGITAL: Website & Digital assets, EDMs, Videos for launches and presentations, TVCs, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest) and LUCCI catalogues. SIGNAGE: Store Facades, Car signage and Stand Design for exhibitions and exhibitions.

About You

You have extensive experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders within a corporate environment. You have excellent communications skills both in writing and verbally. You are highly organised and able to meet multiple critical deadlines, with meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of current design trends.

You Will Also Have The Following Skills/experience

  • Diploma / Degree in graphic design or finished art and/or relevant qualifications or experience and competency in graphic design/finished art.
  • A minimum of 3 years previous industry experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Proficiency working with Mac OS.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills.
