Description

Summary: Create animations for training technicians based on basic animation principles and concepts. Needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills. The technical skills include utilization of various forms of media and visualization of designs. Education/Experience bachelor’s degree in design/animation/art or related field or equivalent training required. 1-5 years’ experience required.

Responsibility Level: Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor

Skills: Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability are required (Required)

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
• Strong ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film (Required)
• Strong ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design (Required)
• Previous experience using the computer to generate new images (required)
• Experience with Adobe software: Photoshop and Illustrator (required)
  
  

Major Job Duties And Responsibilities

• *Work with the Training team to create animations
• Work with Engineering to make sure CAD is the most up to date
• Be resourceful and seek out information that already exists about the product to understand the information being animated and look at previously-created animations to match presentation style with some creative liberties
• Help create synergies between what you are animating and other media being created for the same product/staying organized and communicating location of assets
• Render AI-generated voices for the trainings and modify as needed
• *Collect requirements by interpreting a storyboard or script to make into an animation
• *Work with CAD program and Creo Illustrate to make animations that are composited with audio in Premiere or other software
• *Color 3D assets in Creo Illustrate
• Assemble videos and training in Articulate Storyline 360 including assessment
• Display how engines are built/overviews of engines and their various components
  
  

Top 3 Skills You Are Looking For

• Animation experience
• Working within 3D CAD or 3D creation tool (experience with Creo Illustrate is a plus)
• Video editing (Adobe Premiere or other software)

This role is remote and open to any time zone in the US. The working days and hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. When the manager is ready, he will be requesting 1 hour zoom interviews.
