About The Role.

This is a career defining, rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Fashion Design Manager who wants to make their mark in the activewear world with a well-established premium brand. Based in the Gold Coast, the Fashion Design Manager position is a pivotal management role that is responsible for CSB’s product vision and GTM product concepting. Working with the Brand Founder and reporting into the Head of Product, the Senior Fashion Design Manager will effectively forecast and build product pipelines 24-36 months in advance to ensure the key CSB product pillars are nurtured while also delivering innovation across fabric, category & colour.

  • Key functional remit includes; product and process, financial, supply chain, and leadership. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Setting the creative vision for product & brand GTM seasonally;
  • Managing the strategic creative trend forecasting sessions with Brand Founder & Head of Product;
  • Interpreting concepts and creative vision of brand Founder into market relevant collections within the business;
  • Ensuring 24-36 month product/design roadmap build out for future growth identifying; key product trends, key market trends & category growth opportunities;
  • Guiding the Design team to create product collections that position CSB as a market leader in the athleisure category;
  • Effectively lead and support the CSB Design team;
  • Researching & creating range and category concepts;
  • Achieving the businesses financial, product & community objectives through clear Global, APAC & USA/ROW seasonally relevant collections.

About You.

To support CSB’s growth expanding our footprint in the overseas market, we are seeking an candidates with the following experience:

  • 3+ years working as a design manager leading a team of designers.
  • Proven experience in analytical forward range planning with a scope to effectively forecast and build product pipelines 24-36 months in advance.
  • Proven experience in innovative activewear and athleisure design.
  • Proven experience in effectively working cross collaboratively within other department stakeholders to positively influence best outcomes for the business.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a design team dealing with offshore manufacturing suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of product development process, garment construction, and local and offshore production supply chain management.
  • Excellent understanding of garment specifications, product development and production process.
  • Experienced with use of Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD.
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work deadlines and work independently.
  • A passion for working with Founders and fashion.
