What You’ll Do
- Lead customer-centric initiatives within the Customer Experience team to enhance Ascendon's SaaS offering.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, engineers, and QA teams on the strategic roadmap and specific client projects.
- Manage the full design lifecycle, including research, empathy building, prototyping, user testing, UI, and visual design.
- Conduct comprehensive user research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis to inform and optimize design decisions, ensuring functionality and user-centricity.
- Design and develop scalable, flexible customer experience solutions, focusing on reusability and efficiency, and contribute to a modular design pattern library for consistency across platforms and screen sizes.
- Over 5 years of experience in UX/UI design roles, backed by a degree in a design-related field, and a passion for technology and innovative design.
- Proficient in collaborating with engineers and QA teams, with experience in effectively communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management to translate requirements into software product features.
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, familiar with atomic design, with a strong ability in using and contributing to design systems and pattern libraries.
- Demonstrated experience in designing responsive interfaces across a broad range of platforms including mobile and web, ensuring an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- A commitment to lean, agile methodologies, with a problem-driven approach to design, and a dedication to driving continuous improvement and innovation in design practices.
- A full-spectrum Designer: You're energized by navigating the entire design cycle, from initial concept to final execution, leveraging your comprehensive skills to create cohesive and impactful designs.
- An expert in Interaction and Visual Design: With outstanding interaction and visual design skills, you craft experiences that are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly, showcasing your talent in every project.
- A Progressive System Designer: Skilled in the latest design trends, methodologies, and tools, you excel in crafting scalable, reusable solutions and enhancing modular design libraries for consistent, forward-thinking designs across platforms.
- An Advocate for User Validation: Committed to creating designs that resonate with users, you place a strong emphasis on prototyping and user testing to validate and enhance your design decisions, ensuring they meet real-world needs and expectations.
