As a UI/UX Design Manager, you will lead the design efforts for our commercial software products across multiple platforms, including desktop, web, mobile, and embedded systems in Trimble machinery. Your role involves conducting comprehensive user research, creating innovative product and feature concepts, designing user interfaces, and overseeing usability testing. You will be responsible for ensuring that the user interface elements — layout, information architecture, workflow, content, graphics, icons, and interaction patterns — meet the highest standards of design and user experience. Additionally, you will support the engineering team by providing detailed design documentation and assisting in QA validation.

What You Should Bring
An undergraduate or masters degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, Interaction Design or similar field of study
Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, Miro, Sketch, GSuite or similar to deliver design deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex ideas
Experience with working in a dual-track or agile environment
An interest in designing for professional designers and highly technical applications, where exact measurements, workflow efficiencies and designing for rough field conditions can be of great importance
A passion for staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies
