Senior Product Designer

Our client, a financial technology company are in search of a Senior Product Designer who has both interaction design and visual design experience to join their team. In this role, you will design large-scale, complex, and function-heavy products across all their platform offerings. Client: Financial technology company (unicorn status) Type of role: 6 month rolling contract (outside IR35) Location: Fully remote Rate: up to £800/day (outside IR35) Level: Senior The role: Lead end-to-end product design projects in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Interview key stakeholders and subject matter experts to strengthen foundational knowledge. Synthesize insights into realistic design principles tailored for each project. Thoroughly investigate UI/UX problems from diverse perspectives. Propose intuitive solutions through workflow design, layout prototypes, and conceptual communication to various stakeholders. Partner with development teams to grasp platform constraints and feasibility concerns. Leverage our existing design system and patterns for consistent, visually appealing UI. Evolve the design language, pattern library, and standard components to continue shaping and improving the overall design system. Design intuitive interfaces through iterative prototyping and user testing. Focus on crafting experiences that delight users and fulfil business goals. Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience designing digital products and services, preferably in fintech or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Communication Design, or a similar field. Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and lead interactive design workshops Strong organizational skills. Proven track record successfully creating end-to-end user experiences. Customize journeys through insight-driven design solutions. Passionate about iterating creative ideas with precision and rapidly executing elegant designs. Self-driven and adaptable to learn quickly in fast-paced environments. Highly proficient in Figma with prototyping and UX research skills. Knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus.
