Our Client:

Established in early 1980's, our impressive long-term client have established themselves as a leader within the UK Construction Industry meeting and exceeding clients needs for specialist, bespoke joinery. They take specific pride in client satisfaction and repeat business, working mainly with reputable Main Contractors. With a team of just shy of 200 staff, they take reinvestment in people very seriously.

A huge advocate of training and growing their own; so much so, they built a custom Training Centre on site at the Suffolk HQ. Spanning over 80,000 sq ft their custom built office and manufacturing factory drives quality by keeping all functions under one roof. They are 100% committed to the Environment and protecting it as much as they can.

This proactive business were the first joinery contractor to become accredited to all three chain of custody schemes; FSC, PEFC and Forest Products. Offering vast experience in aiding projects to become BREEAM, LEED, SKA and WELL accredited and have a dedicated Environmental and Quality Managers on every project.

Our client has had the pleasure of working on some of the most challenging, yet rewarding projects including Windsor Castle, The Royal Opera House, the London 2012 Olympics and most recently the new Bloomberg HQ in London.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage the setting out of projects within time and to the required level of quality, this includes setting up status reports including suffix allocation and the allocation of hours / work to design technicians, raising RFI’s, sample and technical submittal requests

Manage/co-ordinate the setting out process and ensuring site surveys are completed

Attend Meetings associated to the design development of the project Experience within the joinery industry, as well as producing high-end & detailed Joinery/Manufacturing drawings, is desirable. However not necessarily essential as full training will be provided, this will reflect on salary and packages offered!

Skills and Competencies:

AutoCAD or Solidworks experience and strong IT knowledge

Highly motivated and good communicator

Attention to detail

Logical approach to work and experienced in working to deadlines On offer:
