Scope
As a vital member of the Control Systems Team, the Signal Design Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Engineering Manager in delivering signaling design for major multidisciplinary projects. This role ensures the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of projects, exceeding client expectations in terms of program, cost, and quality.
Primary Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management systems in all design activities.
- Manage the design delivery of signaling deliverables, ensuring effective and efficient project outcomes.
- Understand contractual requirements and communicate them to design teams.
- Provide leadership and coordinate efforts of design teams.
- Manage day-to-day workload for the signaling design team assigned to the project.
- Work closely with the design team, providing technical support for effective signaling design.
- Ensure signaling design packages comply with client standards, product manuals, project scope of works, and relevant standards.
- Serve as the point of contact for all interactions related to the project.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineers, Construction Team, and Testing and Commissioning teams.
Background / Qualification
- Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent.
- Significant experience with PTA and Arc Infrastructure standards, project execution, and design management.
