Our mission is to accelerate the reduction in Europe’s reliance on fossil fuels, and we have already established a portfolio of onshore wind and solar projects. At the end of 2023 we finished construction of our first solar park and windfarm, which are now exporting power.

To have the biggest impact, we target markets that are underserved by capital and renewable expertise, by a team with a long history in successful development and construction of major renewable projects.


DRI is currently seeking a Solar PV Design Manager with a proven track record in developing and implementing large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of solar panel equipment manufacturers, inverter stations, trackers, and static systems, along with a deep understanding of market dynamics and specificities within the industry.

What you will do:

  • Offer expert technical consultancy services for major solar power plant projects across various stages of development.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of photovoltaic projects at different development phases prior to implementation.
  • Participate in drafting technical specifications for tender submissions and bids for large solar power plant projects.
  • Lead the design process for large-scale solar power plant projects, ensuring clarity on technical aspects such as structural and electrical design for tender submissions.
  • Provide comprehensive technical consultancy throughout the implementation of large-scale solar projects to ensure adherence to project timelines, site-specific requirements, and regulatory standards.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the solar power industry.
  • Proven track record in designing large solar power plant projects.
  • Successful history of developing detailed plans and electrical design packages in compliance with contractual, IEC/EN codes, and permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency in SLD, DC/AC schemes, wiring schemes, grounding, and lightning protection.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D system design software.
  • Expertise in PVsyst, PVcase, SolarGIS, and Google Earth programs.
  • Familiarity with MV&LV cable calculations, optimal inverter types, transformers, and distribution devices.
  • Experience in drafting technical specifications for equipment suppliers and engineering teams.
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD with knowledge in Autodesk Civil/InfraWorks preferred.
  • Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
